  • Raspberry Pi (preferably model B+ or 2B)
  • Laptop with WiFi, LAN and SD card reader
  • USB cable
  • USB phone/tablet charger

Hands-On Syllabus

  • Setting-up Raspberry Pi hardware
  • Installing and configuring Raspbian (Raspberry Pi operating system)
  • Setting-up graphical user interface
  • Remotely access your Raspberry Pi from network
  • Basic Linux commands
  • Overview on Scratch and Python programming

About Us

We are a small group of Raspberry Pi enthusiast who would like to create a platform for the Raspberry Pi User community to learn, share and connect with each other through regular events we organize. The events are open to all regardless of age, background, competency level and location.

Why Are We Doing This

We want to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Malaysia through the use of Raspberry Pi. We want to emulate the success of Raspberry Pi Foundation of UK in Malaysia in promoting computer science and related sciences education. We want to focus on educational and learning activities as the foundation that will lead to other causes.

Events We Organize

We aim to organize regular events like talks, meetings and workshops at different venues mainly around the vicinity of Puchong area. We are not limiting ourselves to Puchong but this is our starting point. We recognize each individual or group have different needs and interest. Therefore, each event will be designed to focus on the needs or interest of a specific target audience group.

Intended Audience

The club is intended for new and seasoned Raspberry Pi people who wants to :

• learn more about Raspberry Pi

• share their knowledge and skills

• find project team members to collaborate

network or establish fellowship with other Pi enthusiast

• explore new for profit or non-profit opportunities
